L.B. Shay, 60, brother of Mrs. Jessie Boyd Spilman, 401 E. Jefferson St, died Wednesday May 20, at his home in Cleawater, Fla. He had been in failing helath two years. Mrs. Spilman was called to Clearwater in February on account of her brother's serious illness. Mr. and Mrs. Shay were known to a number of people in this community as they had visited his sister here a number of times over the years. Their last visit was in July, 1952. Mr. and Mrs. Shay resided in Indianapolis before their removal to Clearwater 29 years ago. Mr. Shay was engaged in the retail furniture business in Clearwater a number of years before his retirement. - kbz
